Actimine

Actimine is an effective acne treatment. It contains ingredients such as zinc, vitamin E, vitamin A, Methyl-sulfonyl Methane, Gum Guggul Extract and Selenium. The all natural formula has been carefully combined to provide an effective and safe treatment for mild, intermediate and severe acne in teenagers and adults.

Vitamin A reduces the production of sebum as well as reduces keratin build up in the follicle. When used with Vitamin E and Zinc, Vitamin A is even more effective. The Vitamin E part of Acnezine keeps your Vitamin A levels normal.

Actimine has shown through clinical trials that it reduces the production of oil (sebum) in the body. Excess oil production in the skin causes acne such as blackheads and whiteheads. When the oil combines with dead skin cells and/or dirt the result is acne. Sometimes bacteria can get in as well which causes nasty infections, redness and inflammation.

Actimine is about to minimize the amount of blackheads and whiteheads not only on your face, but anywhere on your body. And all of this usually only takes a few weeks to begin showing. That is not a long time for someone who has been fighting acne for many years as a lot of people have.

Actimine is able to correct the balance in the body of conditions that cause acne. Generally it is a hormonal issue causing excess oil production. This is addressed by Actimine.

Actimine users who underwent a study showed that there was a very high success rate the reduction and elimination of acne. The skin become less oily after around six weeks and acne began clearing up.

Thankfully Actimine is not expensive compared with other acne treatments. It also comes with a complete money back guarantee so you can sleep at night knowing that if by chance Actimine doesn’t work for you, you can simply get your refund back. However from what I’ve seen so far, you won’t be needing that!

ClearPores

Your skin consists of a huge number of pores. If these pores become blocked, dirty or infected then acne and inflammation occurs. To effectively treat acne you need to stop it from happening before it happens. Prevention is better than cure!

That is the aim of products like ClearPores. ClearPores is the best acne treatment program I have ever used. It is all natural so there are no side effects which is a pleasant change after using harsh treatments such as Roaccutane!

Hormone levels and general skin conditions cause an excess of sebum production in the skin. Couple this with dead skin cells and you have a recipe for acne. ClearPores reduces oil products as well as helping to remove dead skin cells and dirt from the surface of the skin. This inside and outside method combines to form a very potent acne treatment.

ClearPores can be used anywhere on the body that acne occurs including your face, neck, back and chest which are the most common acne locations. You can choose from oral capsules, washes or creams. Personally I like to use all three so that I can treat the inside of the body with the supplements and clear dirt and dead skin away with the cleanser.

Adults and teens can use ClearPores. Because it is natural it will not introduce foreign and potentially harmful chemicals into your body. This means little to no side effects in everyone.

In addition to using ClearPores to clear my skin I’ve been getting at least 8 hours of sleep per night and have been eating plenty of vegetables and fruits as well as fish. Another secret is to eat berries which are full of antioxidants. Combine this with at least two liters of water a day and your skin should show signs of clearing with one month.

Acnezine

Acne affects millions, possible billions of people worldwide. Only a small percentage of these however ever seek medical help. Perhaps it is because the majority of people believe there is no cure for acne. They are partly true; there is no true final cure for acne related skin conditions, however there are definitely methods and treatments for reducing and sometimes eliminating acne.

This article focuses on one particular acne treatment called Acnezine. Acnezine is an all natural herbal treatment for acne. It is full of antioxidants and natural ingredients which are proven in the fight against acne and poor skin quality. Compared to using chemical based treatments such as Benzoyl Peroxide or salycic acid, Acnezine does not cause the irritation and long term side effects that these treatments can and do on many people. Whilst they may be decent short term solutions, long term you do not want to be using chemicals on your skin on a regular basis.

Acnezine is an excellent long term acne solution as there are no side effects to the natural ingredients. It can be used by teens and adults who have mild to severe acne either on the face or other body areas. You'll find that Acnezine is highly effective in reducing and eliminating:

  • Pimples
  • Papules
  • Nodules
  • Pustules
  • Blackheads
  • Whiteheads
  • Inflammation
  • Redness

If you start using AcneZine but don’t see immediate results don’t worry. It takes around three months for your body to adjust to the new treatment and for AcneZine to begin clearing your acne up. After this time you should start noticing some significant improvement in the appearance of your skin.

AcneZine is a great long term solution for acne so if you do choose to use, make sure you are in it for the long haul. It is not a quick fix for acne, and any product that claims to clear acne overnight is clearly lying! Make sure you stay away from these products which can do you more harm than good as they usually contain very harsh abrasive ingredients which harm sensitive skin.

AcneZine contains antioxidants which will improve your skin. It stops the build up of sebum, ensuring your pores do not become clogged. Couple this with a regular washing regime to wash away dirt and dead skin cells and you should begin noticing substantial improvement in your acne condition.

AcneZine is simple to take as it just consists of a capsule that you take once per day. It is something that easily becomes part of your routine and it is not invasive like other acne treatments. Thankfully I have also found it to have no side effects like the dreaded Accutane treatment for acne.

If you combine AcneZine treatment with a good night’s sleep, proper cleansing and a healthy diet then there is no reason why your acne will not clear up in a matter of months.

Remember, it is not just teenagers who suffer from acne. It is common in adults as well so you should not be ashamed to see your doctor about acne treatment. Don't forget to ask yours about Acnezine!

Temovate

What You Should Know About Skincare and Temovate

The skin is the largest organ in the body and literally covers us from head to toe. This is why having a skin condition can be a very irritating and sometimes debilitating experience. Although some skin conditions are localized, there are also some conditions that can spread to different parts of the body. In cases like these, proper skincare and medication is necessary.

Dermatoses
Dermatoses is the plural form of dermatosis. It is the general term used for all forms of skin diseases or defects. Regardless of the specific kind of skin disease in question, a person who has dermatosis, normally has to endure a lot of discomfort. Skin diseases typically make the skin itchy, red and swollen. Minor forms of skin disease can be effectively treated through careful self-care. The affected individual may, for example, take regular baths with lukewarm water and mild soap. He can also use mild applications like calamine and avoid scratching the affected parts. In some cases though, the skin condition can be so severe that mere self-care will not be enough to provide relief. Examples of skin conditions that could become severe are eczema and psoriasis.

Temovate
For serious skin conditions, Temovate is one option for treatment. This medicine contains a corticosteroid that can reduce inflammation and itchiness. It comes in 0.05% propionate cream, 0.05% emollient cream, 0.05% propionate gel and 0.05%propionate ointment. In whatever form, the content of Temovate is highly potent and should therefore be used for short-term treatments only. At the most, treatment should not go beyond two weeks.

Clobetasol
Corticosteriods are among the most commonly used forms of medication for certain skin conditions like psoriasis. These steroids however come in different kinds and in different potencies. The high potency corticosteroid contained in Temovate is known as clobetasol. It is suggested that this particular kind of corticosteroid stimulates the production of lipocortins which is a kind of protein. Lipocortins in turn manage the production of leukotrienes and prostaglandins. The entire process is supposed to reduce inflammation.

Dangers

As mentioned, Temovate is so potent that it should only be used exactly as indicated for a short-term use and ideally with the supervision of your doctor. Using too much Temovate could make the application seep into your bloodstream. This could lead to possible side effects. Too much use of Temovate could lead to Cushing’s syndrome. Although side effects are rare with proper use, some people might experience burning, cracking and itchiness.

Temovate should not be used on individuals younger than 12 years old. The use of Temovate should also be avoided by pregnant women. If your condition does not get better after the prescribed term of use or gets worse, make sure to contact your doctor.

How to Use It

Temovate is for external use only. Use it as often as the directions or your doctor says. A thin film is usually applied on the affected area. It is recommended that the area treated with Temovate not be covered with bandages or other forms of covering.

Benzac

Waging an Active War Against Acne with Benzac

Acne and Benzac have commonly been linked to each other. Individuals with stubborn acne conditions may have become quite familiar with this doctor-prescribed acne medication. There are however, also some users who complain about skin drying, peeling and even tenderness. These common side effects however may actually have something to do with the treatment effects of Benzac.

Acne Production

It would be easier to understand how Benzac works if we first look into how acne forms. Acne production is promoted by three main factors: sebum or oil, dead skin cells and bacteria. In some people, genetic make up and hormonal activity may cause an increased production of sebum. This skin oil should normally drain out from the pores onto the skin, giving the skin its healthy glow. The build up of dead skin cells however may clog the pores and stop sebum from draining. This clogged environment becomes conducive for the growth of bacteria which results in the production of acne.

Acne and Teens

Anyone from both genders can have an acne condition. In fact, some people have been known to have acne breakouts even until the age of 30, 40 or 50. Usually though, we do observe that acne conditions are at their worst in teenagers. It is easy to understand why if we take into consideration the role of hormones. The adolescent stage is often the period in one’s life when hormonal activity is high. Teens therefore are natural candidates for acne formation.

In some cases, individuals who are not teens but have terrible acne conditions may have increased or fluctuating hormonal activity for some other reason than natural biological development. Menopausal women, those under hormonal medication and pregnant women may therefore also suffer from acne conditions.

How Benzac Works

Benzac is one product that seeks to address the main factors of acne development. Although hormonal activity cannot be entirely helped, topical solutions like Benzac are supposed to be able to effectively work on bacteria, oil and dead skin cells. Benzac gets into the root of the problem by unblocking pores, killing bacteria and reducing sebum. Incidentally, the sebum reduction function of this medication is one reason why users normally experience some moderate skin drying. If the medicine however is used properly, dry-skin problem will eventually resolve itself.

Benzac AC in particular now uses acrylates copolymer (AC) technology to prevent excessive drying. This allows the absorption of extra sebum but also feeds the skin with glycerin, thereby preventing too much skin dryness.

Caution

Benzac is best used with your dermatologist’s knowledge especially if you have extremely sensitive skin, if you have allergies or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. The medication should also be used only in the amount and frequency indicated. Excessive sun exposure should be avoided if you are using this medication.

Benzac comes in strengths of 2.5%, 5% and 10%. Your doctor would normally prescribe the lowest strength first and then progress to higher strengths as your condition may require. Consult your doctor immediately if you notice no improvement or if your skin becomes increasingly irritated.

Dermatin

Dermatin: The Healthy Solution to Eczema

Some of us may not know that eczema is actually a common skin condition. It is estimated that around 20% of the people around the world and 15 million U.S. residents have or are affected by it. What is it and how can a product like Dermatin help people with the condition?

Eczema
Eczema is actually a general term for different types of skin conditions. Eczema in general is characterized by inflammation and itchiness of the upper layer of the skin. It normally affects children but it can also be a condition experienced by adults. Eczema is said to happen in episodes. Sufferers may therefore have remission periods when they don’t experience the symptoms of the condition but can later have a recurrence of inflammation and itchiness. There is currently no absolute cure for the condition but products like Dermatin can help reduce aggravating factors.

Kinds of Eczema

As mentioned, eczema can come in different types or forms. Dandruff or seborrheic dermatitis is actually a form of eczema but can easily be treated. Contact dermatitis is another form of eczema that appears when a person comes into contact with allergens or skin irritants. Xerotic eczema is the type that appears during the dry, cold winter season. The last kind of eczema is known as atopic dermatitis which is also the most common.

Symptoms
Aside from inflammation and itchiness, a person with eczema may experience other symptoms. Other typical symptoms include dry skin, reddish patches of skin, blisters or bumps that ooze and crust over, scaly skin and skin sensitivity. Eczema normally appears on the arms and at the back of the knees but the condition can also affect other parts of the body like the neck and face.

Prevention
Although the causes of the condition have not been fully determined, eczema might be preventable. It is suggested that you should at least be aware of your own personal allergy triggers and avoid them. You could also avoid harsh skin products. One other preventive measure that may be overlooked is lifestyle modification. You might be able to avoid eczema if you avoid stressful situations and practices, and maintain proper nutrition.

Dermatin

There are some products like Dermatin that especially put a stress on the preventive measure of lifestyle changes. Dermatin in particular contains natural ingredients and nutrients that can address what is missing from a person’s system which can promote a worse eczema condition. Dermatin doesn’t just soothe the inflammation and itchiness that characterizes eczema but it can also fill up the nutrient deficiencies in people with eczema. Dermatin’s antioxidant and herbal ingredients include omega 3, selenium, artichoke, zinc, hylaronic acid, gamma linolenic acid, olive leaf extract, grape seed extract, milk thistle, artichoke and biocell collagen type II.

It should be noted though that Dermatin is specifically indicated as a nutritional supplement. It can therefore simply boost a person’s system before eczema can get worse. It is important to remember that maintaining a healthy lifestyle along with taking Dermatin is still the best key to reduce the chances of a worse case of eczema.

Differin

Adapalene in Differin: The Cure for Acne?

There are now quite a handful of topical solutions for acne. Different brands use different active ingredients and treat acne in different levels of severity. One other possible acne solution is Differin. This acne solution uses adapalene. What is this active ingredient and how can it solve acne problems?

Effects of Acne
Let’s try to understand first why some individuals may need a product like Differin. Acne is not really a life threatening condition. It won’t kill a person to have acne even though the condition is extremely severe. The worst that you can get out of acne is an infection due to external sources of irritation. Nonetheless, acne is still a main point of concern for people of both genders. This is because acne is one factor that can decrease and damage one’s self-esteem. Severe cases of acne that can manifest itself in numerous red, swollen papules and pustules can make anyone want to hide under a mask. This is why acne should be treated correctly.

Common Cure Myths

If you are not yet using a product like Differin, you might be trying to cure your acne through common but incorrect means. Harsh and frequent washing with scrubs and soaps is one frequently considered solution. This kind of acne treatment however can only worsen the acne condition and may even cause further pore clogging. Another similarly incorrect solution is pimple pricking. This can also cause pimples to become irritated and can even push the bacteria more into the skin.

One other incorrect way of treating acne is using topical treatments like Differin excessively. The truth is that topical solutions usually take a lot of time before showing complete results. Applying medication beyond what is recommended might irritate the skin and cause more than normal drying, peeling and reddening.

Differin
Differin is an acne treatment that is odorless and both alcohol and oil free. It comes in 0.3% and 0.1% gel and 0.1% cream. The 0.3% gel is specifically indicated for severe forms of acne. The 0.1% cream is said to be specially suited for people with sensitive skins. In whatever form, Differin works by regulating the skin cell build up in the pores that lead to acne formation. It should be noted that using this product naturally results in skin peeling, redness, itchiness and dryness that may last for a few weeks to a month. This would make you think that your acne is getting worse but these side effects will gradually lessen thereafter.

Adapalene

Adapalene is the water insoluble chemical active ingredient in Differin. It binds itself to retinoid receptors and ends up modulating skin cells and inflammation. This is how Differin works to reduce acne formation.

Caution
It should be carefully noted that Differin should only be used as prescribed by the doctor and only by the person prescribed to. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult their doctors first before taking any medication for acne. If you have any allergies or if you are taking any other topical application, make sure to inform your doctor too. Sun exposure should be reduced while undergoing treatment.

Differin may or may not work for you. It’s definitely a better solution though compared to common incorrect methods of treatment. It’s worth a try.
